Georgina Jack, author and painter
Georgina Jack is the author of Calendar Pigs. This touching and poignant story, told through a child’s guileless eyes, is at once funny, moving, anger-provoking and heart-warming as it re-awakens many memories of childhood and the life in war-time Northumbrian countryside. 4 7 10 Walter Holmes – Great Service.
David Welsh
David wants others who come in contact with his work to feel they are part of him and his observation of the country he has grown to love.
Chris Mouncey
Chris draws inspiration from the effects of light and changing weather so much a feature of Weardale and Teesdale where much of his work is based. He finds watercolour the perfect medium for his subjects, but he also works in monoprint, a printmaking technique which lends itself to capturing a fleeting instant of light.
Donna Snowdon
I especially enjoy nothing more than rummaging around for new weird and wonderful finds all full of oddity.
Walter Holmes
His vibrant, exciting work is filled with his understanding of the local landscape and events.
