Donna Snowdon
Donna Snowdon’s work is a unique and delightful blend of nostalgia and oddity, and can be seen on her website, www.littlegreydove.com
Donna uses a number of processes, including pigment ink drawing, mark making, mono printing, photography, and collage which is her favourite, and gives her images their unique charm.
She creates images that are reminiscent of an old notebook or a rusty old biscuit tin full of much loved items kept as keepsakes.
She says;
‘I love designing with different types of media, but especially enjoy nothing more than rummaging around for new weird and wonderful finds all full of oddity.
Imagery and inspiration comes from every day objects and happenings. I like to convey an imaginary world within my illustrations that depicts an array of fancies and all things curious’
