Fifiefofum gallery and Sue Moffitt
Multi-Award winning Fifiefofum gallery is situated in the heart of the Tyne Valley, only 20 minutes from Newcastle City Centre.
The gallery was established in 2003 by Sue Moffitt and Roy Sturgeon and over the years has become one of the leading galleries in the North East of England, known for its diversity and quality of artwork from selected artists around the UK.
The gallery runs a yearly exhibition programme, one of the highlights this year will be a selected group of artists from the Society of Wildlife Artists, sponsored by Natural England, and will run from October through until December.
A series of events will run during the exhibition. Sue is an artist herself and has become recognized nationally for her cow portraits which sell over the UK and beyond.
Examples of her work can be seen and purchased at the fifefofum online gallery page
Together Sue and Roy work with a small team, Lucy Hick, who graduated in Computer Science, Emily Pitkethly, who trained in textile design, and Anne Rutherford, who has a wealth of experience (plus several degrees) in a diverse range of subjects.
More information is available on their website at www.fifiefofum.com
On her own website at www.suemoffitt.com Sue explains more abut why she chose to paint her quirky and unusual portraits.

The cow portraits came about because I helped on the family farm with the milking; their individuality was something that I grew to love about them.”
