Welcome to the Frame House Blog Page.
We will be using this page to keep you up-to-date with new developments, and share tips, hints and information what we do, from the initial digitising of your images, through the fine art printing and picture framing. We will also be putting in some of the lessons we do for Photoshop Elements and Photoshop CS4.
The blog will be updated on a roughly fortnightly basis – we are all pretty busy at The Frame House – and I look forward to hearing from you.

Do I scan my painting in as a Photgraph or a document?
At The Frame House, only a photo on photographic paper is scanned as a photograph, anything else uses the document settings. For general scanning we use 400DPI, more if the image is to be enlarged or needs restoration or ‘tweaking’
