‘Tweaks’
These are examples of some of the ‘tweaks’ or improvements we’ve been asked to do. Each one is done by our ‘in-house’ digital artist.
Our photographer is available to record your special moments. These images are all examples and are not for sale.
A family snapshot.
The original was scanned then digitally edited.
The contrast and colour levels were enhanced, a subtle lighting effect was used to bring out the warmth of the clipped highlights, the background was selected, masked then darkened and blurred.
Major tweak
This original photo of the pipers was a 6 x 4 snap taken in a crowd. The photo was scanned and tweaked by masking out the background, separating the pipers and putting them into new backgrounds. The castle was created by duplicating and editing a very small photo of the tower.
There is more information about digitising photos on our Need to know page.
